-Mobile phone, cash & valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Noon team has arrested five wanted members of two former jailbird thief gangs involved in numerous theft incidents and recovered cash, mobile phone and stolen valuables from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in theft incidents in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
According to the details, the Noon police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending five wanted members of two thief gangs involved in numerous theft incidents. The accused were identified as Arif, Muhammad Zahid, Naiz Hussain, Manzoor Shah and Muhammad Idrees.
Police team also recovered stolen cash, mobile phone, LCDs and stolen valuables from their possession. Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
CPO Operations Islamabad appreciated police team efforts and further directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons. The performance of police officials in this regard would be reviewed on a regular basis, he maintained.
Action against Sheesha cafés continues
ISLAMABAD: PS Lohi Bher team arrested 26 accused during the crackdown against illegal sheesha cafes and recovered sheesha, hookah and flavors from their possession.
Islamabad Capital Police intensified crackdown against the illegal sheesha centers in order to eliminate this menace from the city and special efforts are also taken against the accused involved in immoral activities.
According to the details, a Lohi Bher police team apprehended 26 accused during the crackdown against Sheesha cafes. Police team also recovered sheesha, hookah and flavors from their possession. The accused were shifted to the police station for further legal proceedings.
CPO Operations Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari appreciated the police team efforts and further directed all zonal DPOs to intensify the ongoing crackdown against criminals involved in illegal activities. He said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
