12 caught, arms & drugs recovered

RAWALPINDI: The police arrested 12 outlaws including drug pushers, recovered weapons and narcotics during separate actions in different areas of Rawalpindi on Thursday.
The police during a raid in Mandra held accused Amjad Ali wanted for critically injuring Ghaffar during a murder attempt.
During crackdowns against drug peddlers in Westridge, Jatli, RA Bazaar, Waris Khan and Kahuta areas, the police arrested six drug pushers besides recovering 2.290 kilogram hashish and 35 litres liquor from their possession.
Police conducted operations against illegal arms in RA Bazaar and Rawat areas during which culprits were held after recovery of five pistols and ammunition from their possession.
Separate cases in all incidents were registered at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.
