ISLAMABAD: PS Phulgran teams arrested 12 notorious drug dealers involved in a series of drug peddling activities and recovered 10,455 gram hashish, 2,370 gram of heroin and two pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Phulgran police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending 12 drug peddlers red handed during the last 48 hours.
Police team also recovered 10,455 gram hashish, 2,370 gram heron and two pistols with ammunition from their possession. The accused were identified as Muhammad Waqas, Muhammad Ishtiaq, Khawar Ishtiaq, Rizwan, Baber Hussain, Pervez Akhtar, Galib Hussain, Zain Pervez, Manzar Hussain, Imran, Jabber Ahmed and Muhammad Ramzan. The accused were involved in a series of drug peddling activities. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
