ISLAMABAD: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday nabbed four terrorists of a banned outfit during an operation in the Shakarparian forest.
“Four suspects were arrested during a raid in Shakarparian forest, whereas, an accomplice of them managed to escape,” said the counter-terrorism department.
Explosive material including 450 grams of ball bearings and iron nails, 500 grams of gunpowder, and two detonators had been recovered from the possession of the accused.
A case was also registered at the CTD police station against the accused that were reportedly planning a terrorist attack while hiding in the forest.
