New GPA Chairman Buledi seeks ‘Gwadar dev’t works’ on time

GWADAR: Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Chairman Passand Khan Buledi has vowed to pull out all the stops to complete the ongoing development projects in Gwadar under CPEC as per set procedure and schedule.
He said this while talking to Gwadar Pro, asserting resolve that galvanized with high hopes. He has taken the charge of GPA as Chairman to harness all energies to accomplish “a package of development works” as it is a matter of prosperity and growth for the region.
Regarding many initiatives like the momentum of work on New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA), 1.2 desalination plant MGD capacity costing $ 12.7 million, Gwadar port dredging project, Pak-China Friendship Hospital, Gwadar Free Zone Phase II and many others, he said that GPA will ensure furnishing all possible facilities to concerned authorities to keep the momentum of work on fast-tack in accordance with the guideline of government. The Federal Government appointed Passand Khan Buledi as the chairman of Gwadar Port Authority (GPA), Ministry of Maritime Affairs. Mr. Buledi has been appointed on a deputation basis for a period of two years on standard terms and conditions.
Mr. Buledi replaced Naseer Khan Kashani as chairman of GPA who was serving as chairman since 2019.
Passand Khan Buledi belongs to Balochistan Civil Service who joined the service in 1997. He has served as Deputy Commissioner in various districts and Divisional Commissioners of Balochistan. The new chairman has also served in various important positions in the government of Balochistan and the government of Pakistan including Secretary Energy, Secretary Industries, Secretary Labor, Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination and Commissioner Afghan Refugees, and Provincial Census Commissioner. –Agencies
