ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited Secretariat Police Station, Shalimar Police Station, and Capital Patrol Headquarters. During the visits, the IGP Islamabad reviewed various sections of the police stations, facilities being provided to citizens, activities being carried out under the SIPS protocols, facilities available for police officers and officials, and overall administrative arrangements.
During his visits to Secretariat and Shalimar Police Stations, IGP Islamabad inspected the front desks, various sections, and other important areas and reviewed the facilities being provided to citizens. He also inspected measures taken to provide citizens visiting the police stations with a clean, comfortable, and conducive environment. While reviewing the duties of police officers and officials, overall arrangements at the police stations, and the performance of various sections, IGP Islamabad directed that no negligence or delay in the provision of police services to citizens would be tolerated. He emphasized that citizens’ issues should be resolved on a priority basis and that access to police services should be further improved.
IGP Islamabad also inspected the activities being carried out under the SIPS protocols and reviewed the quality of work, progress, and available facilities. He directed the concerned officers to ensure that all ongoing initiatives are carried out effectively and in accordance with the required standards.
Later, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited Capital Patrol Headquarters, where he reviewed the unit’s operational and administrative affairs, ongoing construction and development work, and facilities being provided to police officers and officials. He also received a briefing from the concerned officers regarding the working of Capital Patrol, field duties, and measures for ensuring a timely police response to citizens.
On the occasion, IGP Islamabad directed Capital Patrol officers and officials to further enhance their presence in the field, keep the patrolling system fully active, and ensure a timely and effective police response to citizens. He also directed that special attention be given to providing a better working environment and essential facilities for police officers and officials.
IGP Islamabad said that equipping police stations and units with improved facilities in line with the requirements of modern policing, providing quality police services to citizens, and ensuring a better working environment for police officers and officials are among the key priorities of Islamabad Police.
He further stated that the reforms and activities being carried out under the SIPS protocols are aimed at further improving the environment, facilities, and standard of public services at police stations.
IGP Islamabad directed the officers to ensure that all measures are implemented effectively while keeping in view the convenience of citizens, the quality of police services, and the welfare of police officers and officials. He further directed that ongoing construction and development projects be regularly monitored and completed within the stipulated time frame while maintaining the required standards.
