ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr. Shahbaz Gill on Friday said the federal government will provide clean drinking water, masks and hand sanitizers to the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) rally participants in Gujranwala on Friday.
The SAPM said in his tweet that this is Imran Khan’s government which will ensure all measures at any cost against the coronavirus pandemic and to facilitate people. Innocent citizens are being used to save family corruption, Dr. Shahbaz Gill added.
On the other hand, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan claimed that the opposition parties have spent Rs1.03 billion on the Gujranwala rally. He asked from where this money came.
He further said that the coronavirus has badly affected the country as two more Punjab ministers have been tested positive. The opposition parties have been allowed to hold protest while following strict SOPs to prevent the COVID-19 spread, he added.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chudhry said the opposition parties have placed the stage by occupying half space of the ground. Opposition parties are afraid of their defeat. It was only Imran Khan who had gathered so many people at Minar-e-Pakistan for PTI rally, he added.
