IGP visits Sumbal Police Station

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited Sumbal Police Station, where he reviewed security arrangements, facilities being provided to citizens and ongoing measures under SIPS protocols.
During the visit, the IGP Islamabad met with the officers and officials deployed at the police station and received a briefing on its overall performance, security matters and police facilities being provided to citizens. He directed the officers to ensure timely and effective service delivery, prompt response and better facilities for citizens, while resolving their issues on a priority basis in accordance with law and merit.
IGP Islamabad said that public trust is of utmost importance for the police, and officers and officials must deal with citizens in a courteous, responsible and professional manner. He directed them to ensure that every citizen visiting the police station receives timely guidance and effective police services.
Furthermore, Islamabad Police continues to encourage officers and officials who demonstrate outstanding performance in various divisions. Appreciation certificates are being awarded to officers and officials for their dedication to duty, professional expertise, hard work and notable contributions to public service.
IGP Islamabad said that recognizing outstanding performance and encouraging officers and officials strengthens their spirit of service. Officers and officials who demonstrate exceptional performance are a valuable asset to the police department, while their recognition motivates others to perform their duties with greater dedication, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.
He said that providing timely relief to citizens, ensuring quality service delivery and effective policing remain the foremost priorities of Islamabad Police. The process of recognizing outstanding performance and further promoting the spirit of public service will continue across Islamabad Police.
