ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police apprehended six outlaws from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, Sumbal police team arrested an accused namely Tahir Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Kirpa police team arrested three accused namely Shan Ali, Deep Ali and Altaf Hussain and recovered three 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Similarly, Lohi Bher police team arrested an accused namely Muhammmad Adeel and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Phulgran police team arrested an accused namely Awais Iqbal and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
