ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Lohi Bher police team arrested two wanted members of a car snatcher gang involved in numerous vehicle snatching activities and recovered snatched vehicle from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the Lohi Bher police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a car snatcher gang.
The accused were identified as Mateeb and Moeez. The police team also recovered the snatched car worth Rs 08 million rupees from their possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in car snatching activities in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
DIG Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, directed all senior officials for an effective crackdown against the accused involved in criminal activities.
