———– Porcelain Industry Relics become 61st world Heritage site

Islamabad: At the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Busan, South Korea, China’s “Jingdezhen Handmade Porcelain Industry Relics” were inscribed on the World Heritage List, becoming China’s 61st World Heritage site.

Located in southwest China, Yunnan Province is a major World Heritage province, with 6 sites, ranking second in the country after Beijing.

Yunnan’s World Heritage sites include: the Old Town of Lijiang, the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces, the Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Forest in Pu’er, the Three Parallel Rivers, the Kunming Stone Forest, and the Chengjiang Fossil Site.
